This turned out to be a great trip, a perfect one day break. We were in Agra, treated like VVIP guests. Our hotel had a great view of the Taj. Inspite of all the exhaustion of the previous days, I felt great. Wasnt very hungry and yet gobbled down two and a half aloo parathas. I guess it was the view. When we actually saw the Taj I realised what the fuss was all about. It's simply magnificient. The agra fort turned out to be another surprise. It was beautiful. And all the carvings on the walls literally took my breath away. The attention they paid to details for everything!!! The place where Shahjahan was imprisoned was actually very pretty. The balcony he had... well, all Iwant to say is that I would love to have a balcony like that in my own house :)
Anyways then we went to Fatehpursikri. With the sun setting there was almost something magical in the air. I can tell you this though, my interest has definetly piqued and I shall watch Jodhaa Akbar for sure :D

nice pics...i'm sure you had a blast.. waise every time someone mentions agra and the Taj...i'm reminded of a pj....

no did not no that such a pj existed and quite honestly i could have happily gone on without knowing :P
